I fished for Halibut today but did not find much luck up the coast. There were some fish caught in front of the Harbor in 40-50 feet of water. The Salmon anglers were working the Hole today and ended up with a few fish. There are some Salmon out there so give it a try in the flat water. The Albacore were caught around 36'01/122'58 & 36'07/122'50. The scores ranged from 1-5 fish a boat. The water was flat calm and the signs of blue water look good. The water is expected to be flat calm all day for a few days so come enjoy.
I just spoke to Dynamo Dan who is out looking for Albacore and they have caught one fish so far. They are fishing near 36'00/123'00 which is 75 miles on a 200 degree heading from Santa Cruz. The water is flat calm!
