The Salmon are being caught today near Moss Landing. I just spoke to Gerry on the Doble who had 10 Salmon mooching near 36'48/121'48. The Salmon are working a big bait ball and being caught 10-70 feet down. The fish are a mixed grade with some legal fish and some fish up to 20 pounds. I can barley pick up the Albacore boats but it sounds like they are catching fish about 65-70 miles from Santa Cruz. I believe one of the boats has a Dorado. The water is flat calm!

I fished for Halibut today but did not find much luck up the coast. There were some fish caught in front of the Harbor in 40-50 feet of water. The Salmon anglers were working the Hole today and ended up with a few fish. There are some Salmon out there so give it a try in the flat water.
