BASS
Bass fishing has been really good. With the overcast there have been some good hits on plastic worms. Majority of the fish reported were caught dropshotting pink or purple plastic worms. Try using top water lures early in the morning in shaded areas. The cove behind restroom #1 has had a lot of luck lately.

STRIPER
Stripers are getting hit almost every day due to the overcast in the mornings. Try trolling white flies or scroungers in 30-50ft of water. Recent catches have been in multiple areas. Try the I/O tower and around floating restroom #2.

CATFISH
Catfish are still going strong in the afternoons when it starts to heat up. Typical bait for the cats are nightcrawlers, chicken liver and shrimp
.
TROUT
Trout have been very slow. The best depth for the trout are under 80 ft of water. Try trolling your best lure by the west dam. We hope to start stocking rainbow trout by the end of the month depending on surface temp. Powerbait, mini jigs, and nightcrawlers work well for trout when they are being caught.

PANFISH
Redear , crappie and blue gills have been missing in action but 8 year old Jackson Foltz, pictured above caught a 2.4 lb panfish on a nightcrawler. Best area to try for the panfish are by the East Dam.
