Fish Report for 9-16-2012

What a season 2012 continues to be!

Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85

Just a glance at scores and one can find all species of Tuna being landed on any given trip of any duration.

Albacore, Bluefin and Yellowfin along with Dorado and Yellowtail.

It's an offshore anglers dream.

Fall is here and the bite continues, and continues strong.

1.5 and 2.5 day trips continue to produce consistently well. Some schools are of AAA grade Bluefin continually testing anglers' stamina and ability.

Kelps hold schools of Yellowfin and acrobatic Dorado thrilling novice and experienced alike.

The months of September and October typically are some of the nicest conditions offshore with calm seas and warm days. This my favorite time of year.

Big breezing schools of Bluefin are visible for miles, as well as the golden glimmer of a kelp patty on the horizon.

The anticipation that mounts as you make the approach...then seeing the ocean erupt with life as the first scoop is tossed followed by every rod on the boat getting bit...that's fall fishing offshore.

We have a few trips left on both the Ranger 85 and Coral Sea calendar...but just a few.

These trips are 1.5 to 3.5 days in duration.

These will offer the angler the best opportunity to get in on the action. The bite is on, and continues to give up great scores of quality game fish.

Take the opportunity and experience the best season in the past few years.

We look forward to seeing you onboard.
