Fish Report for 9-9-2012

Ranger 85 & Coral Sea both get good fish counts on their trips, Bluefin, Yellowfin, a few Albacore

Frank Ursitti - Ranger 85

Frank Ursitti called in with this update for the Ranger 85, "We are wrapping up a 2 Day Trip and we have a little more than 90 mixed fish and we're still fishing and we're working our way back up to San Diego. The Coral Sea is wrapping up a 2 Day Trip as well. Last time I checked with them they had close to 100 fish. We had good fishing down here out of San Diego. For the last couple of days the weather was tough, but it's coming back down. There's Bluefin, Yellowfin and even scattered Albacore caught this morning, and Dorado & Yellowtail caught on kelps. There's good fishing over a big area here near San Diego. It's a good opportunity, so don't miss out.

"The Coral Sea departs tonight at 9:00 PM on an ultra limited light load on a 1.5 Day Trip. We only have 10 reservations and this trip is a go. The weather is going to come down nice & I predict we're going to have good Bluefin scores here over the next few days. The amount of fish we've seen with a Day, 1.5 Day range we'll see the dock totals go up. If you have the opportunity get on board one of the boats. If you want to get on board the Coral Sea call 619-222-1144 or call Randy direct at the Ranger 85/Coral Sea office 619-997-9993."
