Fishing has been outstanding for shallow water species like sheephead, whitefish, sand bass and calico bass. Barracuda and spanish jack also on the surface for the "long rod". Fishing a little deeper has produced nice red snapper and lingcod. Variety is the name of the game right now at the Northern Channel Islands.
