According to Captain Temo Verboonen, he reports, "The Fish Are Still Here" and it's one of the very best seasons and times for the anglers to have fast & furious daily action, both inshore and offshore for the sailfish, the dorado, the roosterfish, the jack crevalle and overall, just incredible fun-fishing. Temo says it's a light anglers fishing paradise and the angler can make a selection of almost any tackle and have a superb experience. Very good fly fishing possibilities, using the streamers in white, green/white and for the spin casters, well it's just about as much fun as an angler could handle. Watching the 50-60 lb. roosterfish com in on a pencil popper is truly an exciting experience and readily available everyday.

IZ Climate: The weather has been very good for the past couple of weeks. Yes, we have had some late PM and night rains, but the daytime has been excellent and the surface conditions on the ocean, for the most part, have been nothing short of excellent.

Sea Conditions: We have had a couple of rough and bumpy days but for the most part, the sea surface has been very kind to the anglers and crew and allowed for some spectacular sportfishing trips for the lucky few anglers visiting our area.

Best Fishing Area: Just a few short miles out of the entrance to Zihuatanejo Bay for the dorado and sailfish and the pristine beaches to the south of the Bay and below the mouth of the Valentin River, are producing some incredible roosterfish action.

Best Lure/Bait: Live bait is working very well for everything, both inshore and offshore. Rigged baits are performing superbly for sailfish and dorado, too, in the offshore waters and the roosters and jacks are eager on the top-water pencil poppers.

Bait Supply: Remains readily available for all of the boats for both live and fresh dead baits for rigging.
