The Bass were hitting this week at Upper Otay for the Angler's Choice Tournament

Catfish & Crappie bite was very slow this week. Bluegill bite was good. Bass bite was the best in Harvey's & Otay Arm. Lots of bass in the 2 to 4 lbs. range were caught.
Angler's Choice Tournament was held August 18th. A total of 21 teams entered and 84 Bass were weighed in. The largest fish caught weighed 4.49 lbs and 4.38 lbs.
Winners of the tournament included:
1st Place, Tom Leedon and Tom Lowrey with 5 fish that weighed 14.86 lbs.
2nd Place, John Behnan & Jerry Garcia who caught 5 fish that weighed 13.50 lbs.
3rd Place, Marco Fenelli & Jim Hallauer who caught 5 fish that weighed 13.30 lbs.
