Bluegill and Bass are hitting on Upper Otay Reservoir.

Upper Otay Reservoir Staff
The Bass bite at Upper Otay has been the best from 5:30 AM to 12:00 Noon. The Bluegill bite has been good all day.
The Bluegill are hitting on Wax and Mealworms. Best locations for Bluegill are in Harvey's & Otay Arms. The best bait for Bass fishing are plastic worms on a drop shot rig, crank bait or floating mice.
Some large Catfish have been taken on mackerel and Crappie are hitting on nibbles or mealworms.
