FISHING REPORT
Fishing in general, has been better on weekdays as opposed to weekends as there are less people in the park and in the water.

Trout are still being caught but at much greater depths due to the heat. Most anglers are reporting luck at about 45 feet deep. Some anonymous anglers showed up with a stringer of trout this week with one of them being a decent sized kokanee. These camera shy anglers did submit a photo of the fish only which will be posted at the Marina store.

There were a couple of reports of 12"+ bass that were picked up near the North shore by some anglers renting a boat while using good old night crawlers for bait. There was no mention what area of the lake they were fishing from.

Catfish like stinky bait. Cut bait, chicken livers, cheese and night crawlers are some of the most common baits used. It's always a good idea to have a few choices available and switch them up if you aren't getting any bites. Still not catching catfish? Try another location.

HINT:
Fresh chicken liver holds on the hook better than the frozen variety which tends to get mushy when thawed.
