The Bass, Stripers & Largemouth are boiling at Lake Castaic

Fishing in the upper lake is very good. Stripers are still boiling on the main lake shorelines. Largemouth fishing is getting very good as well. Largemouth are boiling in almost every cove until around noon. Topwater and reaction baits are working best.

UPPER LAKE WATER TEMP: 78 - 80 DEGREES LAGOON WATER TEMP: 75 - 78 DEGREES Stripers are still boiling all over the fish arm and are biting on small top water baits and Flukes. Some stripers are eating night crawlers off the bottom in the backs of the coves. Anglers are seeing largemouth jump all over the shoreline in the coves of the fish arm.
