Capt. Gerry of Reel Sportfishing catches some more Albacore, August 4, 2012
8-5-2012
Gerry Brooks
Capt. Gerry called in with this update for fishing with Reel Sportfishing, "We fished for Albacore again today, you had to be in the right place at the right time. Our first stop we hooked 5 fish and we got 3 of them in the boat. We had some new anglers on the boat, so they didn't quite know what to do.
"They were a better grade of fish, 25 to 30 lbs. We kept on trolling and we put a couple more on the boat. We only caught 5 Albacore but it was a good grade of fish.
"The weather was a little crappy in the morning, but it laid down in the afternoon really nice. It looks like the warm water is here for awhile. The water was 60 to 60.5 degrees all day long.
"If you want to get on a trip for some tuna give me a call at 831-212-1832."
