Drew Card

Drew Card checked in this morning with this report for the Pacific Queen, "We're off to a nice start, no big hits yet but we have 9 Bluefin on the boat so far. It seems like there is a lot around, everybody is stopping through here. There's been a couple good hits this morning, for 20 or so. But for the most part everybody is short stop'n through here. The grade of fish is really nice, 15 to 17 lb. fish. We have 3 of a better grade fish, I'd call about 25 to 35 lbs. We have a heavy one on right now, he's been stroking for a long time. The weather is still nice, we have a little bit of breeze this morning. More than we were expecting, it's not bad and it seems like it is already back'n off a bit. Not a lot of breeze, maybe 10 knots.

"I just want to remind everybody that tomorrow night we have a 1 Day Trip. It will be a Coronado Islands trip. We'll try and catch some Yellowtail down there. I know there was a boat yesterday that had 42 Yellows. We had a really good trip our last trip on Sunday. It was a lot of fun, we had good action on Yellowtail and Barracuda and a few Calico Bass to go with it. We'll get down there again tomorrow night. If you are interested call Fisherman's Landing at 619-221-8500.

"Also we have a 2 Day Trip and a couple spots opened up Friday night. It was full and 3 spots just opened up. So if you want to get on one of our 2 Day Trips, limited load, Izorline sponsored call the Landing at 619-221-8500 or sign up on our website www.pacific-queen.com.
