Drew Card checked in on Monday evening with an on the water report from the Pacific Queen, "We had 13 guys on the boat today, we had a really light load. We ended up with 28 Yellowtail, 2 Dorado and 18 Bluefin. It was a great day, great day. Steady action we were busy all day. We got into the Bluefin zone late, we came with a couple other boats and we all got fish. We had 2 stops each stop got 9 fish. Our first one boiled up good, I bet we could have really loaded the boat up. Everybody got bit multiple times. We had quite a bit of failures. We did end up with 9 at that stop and 9 at another stop. The other boats up here also got fish, everybody had at least 20 Bluefin or so. It looks good, it looks like this is an area we can catch Bluefin in and it gives us hop for the next couple of days.
All our Yellowtail were that better grade, 15 to 25 lbs. We had maybe 2 of the smaller fish that we were catching before. We just had good quality all day. Epic weather and we have a trip tomorrow night. It is a 1.5 Day Trip another one of these, coming down here. So if you are interested call Fisherman's Landing at 619-221-8500. Or you can sign up on our website at www.pacific-queen.com."
