Fish Report for 7-14-2012
The San Diego's fishing report for the past week!
7-14-2012
Ryan Bostian
Warm water and surface fish have been the name of the game. Our counts have been averaging 5-21 yellowtail 20-100 barracuda and 10-40 calico bass. Bottom fish have also been available for those folks that enjoy doing that. Yesterday we saw some water as warm as 70 degrees. With all this tropical flow down here there is no telling what might show up. A few bluefin were caught at 38 miles from mission bay. This time of year I am constantly monitoring the local offshore banks for any reports of tuna or yellowtail . This upcoming week we are open party all week so call 619-224-3383 for reservations. As I have mentioned in my earlier reports the yellowtail at the Coronado islands have been extremely large 15-30 pounds. Please bring fresh line and check your drags.
