New Sea Angler catches 38 Salmon for 22 Anglers to 23 lbs on July 4th

Rick Powers called in to report on the fishing for the New Sea Angler on Wednesday, July 4th, "22 Anglers caught 38 Salmon to 23 lbs. All taken aboard the New Sea Angler while trolling off Bodega Head. Fantastic fishing, good weather, no wind a little bit of a lump and excellent fishing.
"We do have space available Thursday, we are full Friday, we have plenty of room on Saturday, Sunday, Monday right on thru next week. If you are interested in going on a Salmon, Rockcod, Lingcod combo trip call 707-875-3495."

7-4-2012Rick Powers called in with this report for fishing aboard the New Sea Angler for July 2nd & July 3rd, On July 2nd, 20 anglers caught 26 Salmon to 25 lbs. On Tuesday July 3rd, 19 Anglers took 29 Salmon to 26 lbs. Fishing was done trolling off Bird Rock. On Tuesday's trip we probably had 60 hook ups when we got 29 fish. Rick Powers called in with this report for the New Sea Angler, "Salmon fishing was extremely good we fished west of Tamalas Point in about 180 ft. of water. Twenty anglers took 26 Salmon to 25 lbs. all taken trolling. The average fish was 12 to 14 lbs., with lots of fish in the high teens and low 20's.
