Channel Islands Sportfishing
With 9 boats out fishing today and 188 anglers, we had lots of variety in the counts. The overnight boats the Mirage and Pacific Islander were fishing the outer islands for large cod, mean lings and tasty white fish with good success. Our full day boats the Cobra, Island Tak, Seabiscuit and Aloha Spirit took their anglers out for some shallow water fishing targeting fish like white seabass, calico bass, barracuda and halibut. With live squid in the tanks these tasty exotics just cant resist. Our ¾ and ½ boats the Gentleman, Erna B and Speed Twin hit the local islands for good rock cod fishing along with a bounty of sheephead, lingcod, whitefish, sculpin topped off with a nice flat fish on the Gentleman. The water conditions are ripe, the bait is solid and the fish are biting. Call the landing today to book your spot on any of our 13 sportboats or simply reserve online.
