Spring mixed bag

 The 3/4 day boat SAN DIEGO is catching Yellowtail,  Barracuda and a variety of Rockfish at the Coronado Islands. 3/4 day trips depart daily at 5:30pm.

  Half-day Calico Bass fishing started with a bang Wednesday afternoon with the arrival of anchovies for bait. 14 anglers landed 40 Calicos. Half-day trips depart daily at 6am and 12:30pm and will be fishing the kelp beds for Calico Bass, Barracuda and Yellowtail.

Yellowtail and Barracuda are still biting at the Coronados for the 3/4 day boat SAN DIEGO. Clean and  warmer water appear to bode well for the season ahead. 3/4 day trips depart daily at 5:30am. The New Seaforth has been having daily shots at Yellowtail that are either very finicky or way to big to land. The 3/4 day boat SAN DIEGO, Thursday May 3rd, caught 48 Yellowtail. The fish are being mostly caught on fly-lined sardines and a few on surface iron. The NEW SEAFORTH morning half-day trip had excellent bottom fishing again and they have been seeing yellowtail up in the afternoon.
