Yellowtail and Barracuda are still biting at the Coronados for the 3/4 day boat SAN DIEGO. Clean and warmer water appear to bode well for the season ahead. 3/4 day trips depart daily at 5:30am.
The New Seaforth has been having daily shots at Yellowtail that are either very finicky or way to big to land. Kelp bass appear to be waking up and are being caught on small plastics swimbaits. half-day trips depart daily at 6am and 12:30pm.

5-3-2012The 3/4 day boat SAN DIEGO, Thursday May 3rd, caught 48 Yellowtail. The fish are being mostly caught on fly-lined sardines and a few on surface iron. The NEW SEAFORTH morning half-day trip had excellent bottom fishing again and they have been seeing yellowtail up in the afternoon. Captain Ryan of the San Diego just called in to report some excellent surface fishing on the 3/4 Day this morning. Along with landing two very nice yellowtail they have also found themselves in the midst of a phenomenal barracuda bite. The 3/4 Day departs daily at 5:30AM, so break out the jig sticks and some surface iron and join us for some exciting surface action. ...... Read More
