Hi all. This is the official leading trout for the Shaver Lake Trophy Trout Project's Summer Derby. Weighed it in at Shaver Lake Sports:

Caught by Bill Alves Jr. from Tulare. A 7.1 pound - 25 3/8's inch beauty. Taken near Black Rock fishing from a drifting boat with Power Bait. Many 4 to 6 pounders have been caught this past week. Dick Dick's Fishing Charters

Following nearly three feet of snow in the second week of April, the beautiful warm day's of Spring have returned and the snow is rapidly melting.
