46,500lbs of rainbow trout have been stocked since Nov 16th
2,000lbs of trout were stocked on Tuesday March 27th!
NEXT TROUT STOCKING WILL BE ON April 03rd!!!
More trout stocked per acre than ANY other lake in O.C!

BIG Trout of the week goes to: Ted Ohashi#1, photo of Corona with a 10lb 03oz trout that hit a power bait/night crawler combo in the flats off a boat. Miguel Valencia, pictured above of Santa Ana caught a 10lb 08oz trout soaking chart. power bait in zone 4. Fly fisherman Chris Sebourn, photo # 6 of San Juan Capistrano with a 10lb 02oz trout that hit a zebra midge in the flats off a boat. Rus Reck, Photo # 2 of La Mirada caught a 10lb trout on a perch mini jig in the flats via float tube. Mike O'Malley, photo #3 of Santa Monica weighed in a 10lb trout using a chart. mini jig of a boat in the flats. Ichiro Shintsubo, photo # 4 of Irvine caught a 10lb trout a torut king worm in zone 2. Liz Fortuna, photo # 5 of Montebello caught a 10lb trout throwing a rooster tail in zone 2. Dean Lusk of Lake Forest caught a 9lb 02oz trout throwing a gold and orange sc shiner in zone 3. Shawn Etminani of Moore Park caught a 9lb trout soaking an inflated night crawler in zone 3. Richard Yang of West Minister landed a 9lb trout using a smoking trout jig in zone 2. 16 trout in the 5lb to 8lb class were also weighed in at the scales last week!!

MONSTER trout continue to be stocked every week!! Trout fishing has been awesome with 5 fish limits the 'norm' and plenty of BIG trout coming to the scales EVERY day!! Power Bait, Night Crawlers, Trout Worms / Tails and Crank Baits ALL producing trout strikes. Fly fisherman continue to catch BIG numbers of trout on the bead head midges.

CASH and PRIZES up for grabs for top 3 fish EVERY Wednesday and Thursday!!!

BASS Fishing has gone off the hook the past couple of weeks. Large numbers of quality bass up to 12lbs in size have been caught and released last week!!! Fisherman targeting Bass are reporting 10 to 20 fish days throwing plastic worms around both islands and in heavy cover along the back side of the lake.

OUR BASS FISHERY IS BACK!!!!!


BLACK CRAPPIE has been 'wide open' the past several weeks with a massive spawn of baby crappie hanging out under the boat dock and SLAB crappie to 3lbs in size being caught in the middle of the lake! Its going to be a GREAT Summer!!!
