Trout fishing showed improvement this past week, and most anglers were able to manage some near limit action led by Jameson McClellan of Santa Ynez, who caught a limit with a 3 lb. holdover the best fish. Trolling silver and black Rapalas works as well as Kastmasters and dodger crawler combos provide most of the action. The Annual Trout Derby is slated fir April 14th and 15th. There will be a plant of "Tail Walkers" preceding the event.

The Bass bite tapered off some this week, but both largemouth and smallmouth bass are still biting jigs, plastics as well as some reaction baits in 10' to 20' of water. Bow fishing for Carp was reported to be fair early back in the narrows. All other species are slow.
