The Gulf maintained its 1-2 ft. wave heights for today's offshore fishing trip, making for smooth running again today. With 77 fishermen aboard, Capt. Tony Langston pointed the sleek, twin hulls of the partyboat Capt. John to the SE after entering the open Gulf.

Fishing over assorted bottom structure in 150 ft. of water had this catch biting the squid or sardine baits.
?Ģ 39 red snapper to 10 lbs.
?Ģ 1 lane snapper
?Ģ 279 vermilion snapper to 3 lbs.
?Ģ 8 mangrove snapper- 10 lbs. ea.
?Ģ 12 rockhind grouper
?Ģ 1 Warsaw grouper - 18 lbs.
?Ģ 12 triggerfish
?Ģ 1 Atlantic spadefish
?Ģ 3 ling
?Ģ 1 dorado - 15 lbs.
?Ģ 6 amberjack to 25 lbs.
?Ģ 9 almaco jack
?Ģ 25 kingfish to 30 lbs.

Today's fishing trip into the Gulf started off with a run SSE after passing Galveston's south jetty. The area selected by Capt. Tony Langston for today's fishing on the partyboat Capt.
