The Salmon fishing was decent for the angler who worked the area near the East edge of the Soquel Hole. The best numbers were 36'52/121'55, 36'49/121'53, 36'49/121'53 and 36'51/121'52. The Salmon were being caught 110-190 feet down on the troll. The best lures were the Watermelon Apexes, Cop Car Kajikis, Green R.S.K.'s, and Watermelon Krippled Anchovies. The water was flat all morning but the wind did come up around noon. The Halibut are starting to come in with some nice fish being caught today. I heard of a few fish caught near the Lighthouse, Capitola, and near the Harbor. There are a bunch of small Halibut being caught near Capitola Wharf in 8-15 feet of water. There are some Sea bass being caught in the same area. The Sea bass are being caught with Fish Traps, Squid, and live bait. The Rockcod fishing was good outside the Mile Buoy and near South Rock. The wind was blowing to hard for anglers to run up the coast.
