Yucaipa Regional Park has recent trout stockings, and some large fish are being taken

Mt. Lassen stocked 1,000 lbs. of rainbow trout on December 15th. Several larger trout up to 10 lbs. were being caught. Del Forton in the above photo land this beautiful 9.5 lb. fish. The best baits were Garlic PowerBait, trout worms, jigs and nightcrawlers. DFG stocked 1,600 lbs. on December 19th. State fishing license is required but are no longer available at the park.
