Weather: Forecasts show sunny skies with temperatures in the low 80's and high 90's this week. There have been moderate to strong winds in the late afternoon.
Rattlesnakes are out this time of year so always be cautious when going on trails and shoreline!

BASS
Fish are still boiling first thing in the morning. Spooks and Sammys work good early morning along with trout pattern swim baits. Scroungers and flukes have been working very well for bass. The majority of fish reported were caught on plastic worms. Dropshotting or texas rigging has been most productive. Colored plastic worms such as, morning dawn, margarita mutilator, and oxblood have been working the best. Reports of bigger fish are being caught in 20-40 ft of water. Shad were spotted all over marina and along the north shore of the lake.

STRIPER
Large quantities of limits were reported. The fishing for striper was wide open this weekend! The majority of limits were caught on cut bait. Dropping cut bait 80-120 ft down have been most productive for catching stripers. Sardines and anchovies work the best. Ted Reed (in picture above) caught two 10lb stripers on sardines.

CATFISH
Many catfish reported this week. Anchovies, shrimp, chicken liver, and night crawlers have all been working well. The best spots to catch a catfish are by the attenuator or in cove 3 for the shoreline fishermen.

PANFISH
Panfish went back down when the cold weather came. Since we have had warmer weather there has been a few catches.

TROUT
We will have the next trout plant the week of Oct. 31st
