This morning at about 7:30, we pulled into one of the reefs down the Baja coast. It is a great area for calico bass. We dropped the kayaks and skiffs in and started fishing. We had slow fishing over all with poor conditions, off color water, no current, and bait in abundance. The bass were reluctant to bite. One standout fish was landed today; Kevin Mattson landed a bass on the M.C. swimbait that was #10.2 on the scale before being released. We made one run and headed south to set up for tomorrow. More then, the Q crew's out!!
