Qualifier Crew
Lets just say we got the anchor down in the dark and the action began shortly there after. It was game on beautiful 25 to a few standouts that went over 40 pounds. The yellows were there and eager to welcome our baits. After thinks lightened and the sun began to raise the action continued with bite going from predominantly a dropper loop bite, to more of a yo-yo, and fly line bite. After putting together a wonderful morning we decided to blast offshore in hopes of finding kelp or some more tuna fish. We ended up picking away at a few tuna on various blind jig strikes, dolphins, and the occasional meter mark, before the day was over. We we're slightly disappointed that our big kelp load full of biting fish didn't present itself for us, but we cant complain about our day in the least bit. We are still sliding south and will be on the ridge tomorrow.
