Qualifier Crew

We headed north today and the weather was not so great. It was cold green water and a bit of wind. Instead of fishing off shore for tuna we made the move into the beach and tried to hide from the wind. It was nice in the lee of the island we fished. A few drifts for a halibut or two and then we found some yellowtail. It was a nice afternoon; we had good weather and finished of our fishing for the trip. When we headed north the weather took a turn quick. It was wet and windy while the guys broke down their gear and we headed for home. We will be in at 6 am Saturday morning and then turning around and heading back out with a group of fire fighters from the Long Beach area led by Gary Shall. We would like to thank Jack Nilsen From Accurate for the goodies that everyone received, the reels that he gave away and the good times. Also the Salas Jigs, Mustad Hooks, Aftco fighting belts and other misc. items that Jack gave out. If you ever want to try an Accurate reel, Jacks trips the one you should try to book, he brings reels and rods for all to use and they are the best of the best. More tomorrow, the Q crew's out!!!
