Mark Gillette

Mark Gillette called in after in talked with Captain Rick, "Rick is on the Day and one-half trip here and he reported much, much better weather conditions. He said he had about 8 knots of breeze. Scores are anywhere from 20 to 80 here about this morning on the Bluefin tuna. The Eclipse is right up there in the middle. He was on his 4th drift this morning. It is 50+ on the Bluefin here. He was drifting and hooking fish as I was talking to him. He said there is a very nice spread of boats out, they are not all crowded up on one another. He said the private boat traffic was much lighter. That combined with the wind is why he thinks the bite is back up there.

"Hopefully it continues to bite all day. It really shows no sign of slowing down but with fish you just never know. They are out until dark, we will give you guys a check back, so we will keep you guys up-to-date. That's all for now.

"There's still plenty of spots on our Avet 2 Day Trip leaving tomorrow night. If you want to get aboard on this Bluefin tuna bite come on out. The price is $475 including all your food. So call Seaforth Sportfishing at (619) 224-3383. If you want to charter the Eclipse call me directly (Mark Gillette) (619) 518-8701.
