Mark Gillette talked with Captain Rick Podolak on the beginning of their 2nd day, "There are slower conditions here this morning boats have anywhere from 1 to 20 fish. There is a lot of small boat activity and the fishery is just down right now. A couple of the bigger boats including the Eclipse are spreading our further down South and the the West where we saw fish in the morning. We will get a report shortly around noon.
"A quick trip announcement, unfortunately there were three passengers that had a family accident in Arizona so we do have three open spots for our Day and one-half trip tonight. If you want those spots call me directly at (619) 518-8701. I do have 3 openings on that trip"

9-4-2011Mark Gillette called in to give a report from the Eclipse, "It was a little tougher day for the Eclipse today. The pens weren't moving around too much and the fish weren't schooling up. So they went off looking around a little bit and they found a little back end for some more fish, 9 fish or so for the day. We ended up with 75 fish for the trip not a bad day at all.
