The Shogun Gets a Reward For Sticking It Out
8-14-2011
Bill Roecker
"We found reason to stay at Guadalupe another day," said the report from Shogun August 13. "The big yellows bit for us in the mid-morning hours. Big as in 32 to 45 pounds big, at times we had as many as six on the line. That is darn fun fishing when these bruisers decide to go on the chew, most came on the dropper loop and a for the anglers willing to drop down a Salas PL68 these fish bit the jig too. Other than that it was a tuna here and a tuna there are different spots, in the evening they showed well enough splashing around and such, but they didn't want to bite."
