Century Drive Lakes Fish Report 06-14-07

Kaufman Streamborn

June is the time of year these bodies of water really shine.??Damsels, Dragons, Leeches, Callibaetis, Scud, Caddis, Chironomid, and anything else you can think of.??

The Weather has been on the cooler side most weeks so far this spring, prolonging the hatches for our benefit.??All the big lakes have reported fine fishing on the warmer, brighter days.??Look for things to get more consistent as the water warms.??Also think about taking a break from the "Known" water and hike into one of the smaller lakes in the area.??While the fish might not be Trophy sized, they are fun and willing to take a fly.

Two good bets for this time of year are the "Channel" on Hosmer Lake, and fishing the "Edge of the Hole" in Little Cultus Lake.
