The wide-variety mixed bag catch from Puerto Morelos continues on this week with a report that reflected 11 different critter types reported for the days fished. While the numbers of days fished have slowed down a little with the approaching hard-weather season, overall, only a few days have been lost from inclement weather conditions. The catches reported for a combined total of 15 outings reflected 2 wahoo, 8 blackfin tuna, 13 Atlantic barracuda, 17 bonito, 4 Spanish mackerel, 2 sharks, 2 amberjack, 14 triggerfish, 2 soapfish, 3 grouper and 2 snappers.

PM Climate:
Mostly cloudy days with scattered P.M. showers and a little humid. Temps ranged from 74 nights to 92 daytime highs.

Sea Conditions:
Small swells and light & variable surface winds have been making a comfortable ride for the anglers. Sea temps have been stable at 85-86 degrees with very good clarity.

Best Bait/Lure:
The always get'em to bite ballyhoo continues to be the most productive for this area with both, skirted and un-skirted rigged baits.

Bait Supply:
We have never experienced a bad bait supply day since the opening of the Marina.
