"We had a great day of fishing," wrote Red Rooster III skipper Joe D'Acquisto June 28. "The tuna where all seventy to ninety pounds with a few at thirty pounds. We also had good yellowtail fishing. The yellows ranged from fifteen to thirty pounds. With the water warming up the fish seem to be more active and with the amount of fish boiling around one of these days they are really going to want to bite. The weather is beautiful and all the anglers are happy. With offshore sign being so far up the line we will probably stay here at the rocks to finish our trip, although it does seem to be perking up a little bit. Hopefully the fish are getting back on the bite. Wish us luck tomorrow for more of the same. We will report back later."
