Hello Anglers,
Sorry for the delay in updates. We have had a couple of slow days here on the grounds. There has been a few 60 pound tuna caught and a few Dorado but not much else. We did see encouraging sign outside the bank on porpoise. There was several big spots of what looked like 150 to 200 pound Yellowfin with the porpoise and we stopped on them several times trying different approaches each time but they were not in the biting mood. The amount we saw was pretty impressive to say the least.
Tomorrow we are going to try a new area above the Islands and see what we come up with. Wish us luck and sorry, there are no pictures.
The Aloha Spirit runs 5 AM trips out of CISCOs in Oxnard. We target White Seabass, Calico Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut when available. We also will run Rockfish and Lingcod Specials. Call CISCOs at (805) 382-1612 or BOOK ONLINE.
