Hello Anglers,
We started and ended our day on a good note. Around 0400 and after weeding through the smaller tuna we started to hook some nice sized Yellowfin in which we landed 5 from 160 to 180 and Bruce Postumas caught and released a 160 and a 60 during that little flurry. We picked until daylight landing another 9 fish from 75 to 110 pounds. When the sun came up we picked up the anchor and trolled around for someWahoo and caught 9 of them before we went looking for fish on bird schools. The fish seemed to be moving alot faster than yesterday making them very hard to get to bite. We were able to get in front two different spots where we picked up fish weighing 140, 130, 176, 110, and 186. We also picked up a few 50 to 70 pound fish along with the bigger ones. At the end of the day we put the anchor down to try for an evening bite and Andy Markum picked up a 190 pound yellowfin on a mackerel, Bob Orth picked up a 170 on a sardine and there was two other fish around 110 pounds that were caught as well. The first picture that I am sending is of Bruce Postumas pulling on a tuna. Reported by: Shawn Steward
