Hello Anglers,

Hello anglers, once again from Clipperton Island where we are enjoying our scenery, the weather, and of course the fishing. This morning we did not get any fish over 130 pounds but we did get 25 fish from 50 to 130 so we had a little action. In the afternoon we could only one spot of fish to cooperate and we picked up a 8 fish from 125 to 160 pounds. After a few more attempts on the birdschools we ran inside to anchor up for the night and picked up a few 90 pound tuna.Right when the dinner call was made first time long range anglers Ron Karaffa and Mike Ashford hooked up on sardines and when they were both landed they taped out only 2 pounds apart, 246 for Ron and a 248 for Mike, it was a nice way to end the day. The picture that I am sending is of Ron Karaffa and his 246 pound Yellowfin. Wish us luck tomorrow. Reported by: Shawn Steward
