Hello Anglers,

Today we had very nice weather with a few knots of wind and pretty much zero swell. Having the weather that we did made it easy to spot breezers of fish on the surface as well as spots of bluefin boiling and jumping on the surface. We were able to get two spots of bluefin to stay with us and out of the two stops, we hooked a total of 31 bluefin and landed 11 fish from 90 to 130 pounds. The majority of the fish lost were right at the gaff so they were real heartbreakers. After 1230 we did not get any spots to cooperate for us but we did get a strike on 60 to 70 pound big eye and we picked up two of them. Tomorrow we are going to be down at Benitos Island to try for some yellowtail. Reported by: Shawn Steward
