Hello Anglers,

Hello Sportfishing fans. Today we started out at San Benito Isl. with the fish biting before daylight. By 6 this morning we had already boated 12 Yellowtail and a 30 pound plus White Sea Bass for the 5 guys fishing. As the Sun rose and more of our passengers rolled out of their bunks, the bite just kept getting better. Another day of flat calm weather, by 9 in the morning the temperature was just as hot as the Yellowtail fishing. And both were hot. At 10:30 we had all of the Yellowtail that we wanted and it had to of been at least 85 degrees outside. So we stopped fishing Yellows and went and fished Calico Bass for a little while before running offshore and looking for kelp patty's. We will be at Guadalupe Island tomorrow to see if we can catch some more Yellowfin Tuna. Wish us luck Don Gardner. P.S. below is a picture of Jim Bailey and Scott gardner with a Quality Benitos Yellowtail. Jim would like to say hi to his son Brandon currently serving in the United States Air Force. Also pictured is Scott Fletcher with one of the bigger Yellows of the day. Mike Pritchard

The fish bit good until about 11:00 a.m. and then slowed down for the rest of the day. Arriving back at the dock this morning we off loaded our catch and weighed our jackpot fish, the jackpot winners go as follows... Third place was Bob Hansen...... Read More
