Steady jig strikes

Good evening Anglers,

Today was a little different, we started out great, with 4 fish hooked before daylight we thought that we were in for a banner day. But, once the sun came up, the fish left us. We stuck it out for a while longer before picking up the anchor and looking around. We didn't have to do much looking before finding a spot of Wahoo that were willing to bite. After some steady jig strikes and picking some more wahoo on the bombs, we decided to look at Alijos Bank about an hour away. After catching some grouper and a couple of more Wahoo, we went back to the Rocks to finish up our day. We did manage to mix the day up pretty well, catching some Yellowtail and an Amberjack, to go with our Tuna and Wahoo. But, we will be leaving the Rocks and fishing offshore tomorrow with hopes of getting some more Wahoo and some Dorado as well. We will let you know how it went tomorrow night. Below is a picture of Ger Fukui with a nice Wahoo. One thing that I forgot to mention. The weather is absolutely gorgeous. Mike Pritchard.
