Hello Anglers,

Today we fished offshore again looking for porpoise or kelps to fish. Again, we had flat calm weather to work with. There was a very nice temperature break to work with and we found some porpoise mid-day that had some yellowfin on them. We hit them several times throughout the day and picked up 24 yellowfin, 11 of them were 15 to 30 pounds and the other 13 were 60 to 100 pounds. There was pretty good potential on the dolphin but the tuna just did not want to bite. Tomorrow we are going to be on the ridge to see if we can scratch a few fish there. Until tomorrow.

The Aloha Spirit runs 5 AM trips out of CISCOs in Oxnard. We target White Seabass, Calico Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut when available. We also will run Rockfish and Lingcod Specials. Call CISCOs at (805) 382-1612 or BOOK ONLINE.

For the day we managed a handful of Dorado and 13 wahoo from 35 to 75 pounds. Tomorrow we are going to try our luck at Alijos and see what we can come up with, we'll check in tomorrow. Shawn and the crew ...... Read More
