Hello Anglers,

Today was very slow for us in the daylight hours. It started out with 4 fish in the morning from 90 to 175 pounds. The big one was caught on a heavy jig down deep by Bruce Postumus. The afternoon we picked up another 7 fish from 70 to 140 all on sardines. At dark is when the action we were looking for started. Seven fish in the dark from 110 to 223 and all on sardines with the exception of one that was on a flying fish. Pat Gallagher got the 223 on 100 pound line and a sardine, Tom Carlisle picked up a 209 on a sardine and 100 pound with a 150 pound Soft Steel Ultra leader. Van Zollweg was the next lucky angler with a fat yellowfin that taped out at 197 pounds on 150 pound Soft Steel ultra and a sardine and a 9\0 Eagle Claw 2005 circle hook. We also had 10 wahoo for the day to go with our 19 yellowfin and the weather is getting better so hopefully we will have better luck during the day tomorrow.Enjoy the pictures Reported by Shawn Steward

Finally we had a few passengers get up and start soaking baits. The next bait that went into the water...... Read More
