Hello Anglers,
Today was our last day of fishing on our trip and we started offshore looking for kelps in less than favorable conditions. We had 20 to 22 knots of wind and a choppy sea condition but we put together a reasonable day. We had a few fish off of a sonar mark and the rest came on kelps. Our best kelp was for 44 yellowfin tuna, 5 yellowtail and a dorado. The rest of the day we scratched a few fish off of each kelp. We are going to tuck our tail between our legs and run to an island to get a break from the wind and try for a few trophy yellowfin and yellowtail. Shawn and the crew

The Aloha Spirit runs 5 AM trips out of CISCOs in Oxnard. We target White Seabass, Calico Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut when available. We also will run Rockfish and Lingcod Specials. Call CISCOs at (805) 382-1612 or BOOK ONLINE.
