Hello Anglers,
We spent the day out at Alijos rocks and did not do bad. There is a little sign of wahoo and tuna here but it seems very reluctant to bite. We ended up with eight wahoo, 18 yellowtail, and three tuna for our day. We are headed offshore for tomorrow to try and find a kelp with some dorado and skin on it. Wish us luck..... JUSTIN

9-29-2005Hello Anglers, Today was our first day of fishing on our 8-day open trip. We fished the Ridge and had some very good action on tuna, yellowtail, and a few wahoo. The tuna was a nice grade, I'll call them 18-30 pounds with most of them being cookie cutter 22 pounders. I wouldn't call it wide open, but it was steady action all day long.
