Well, our consistent effort worked and paid off for us as we were able to get these fish to cooperate a little for us today. They were a little bigger than we had originally thought with the little one being a mere 170 pounds. We also got a 175, 195, 220, 225, and a 235. As you can imagine with the size of the fish there was some casualties and we had at least 4 other fish on the line that I would call 200 pounds or better but they either chewed through the line, pulled the hooks, or in one unfortunate event we had the spectra break on a fish we were pulling on for quite a while. All of our fish came on the sardines and mackerel and heavy line was definitely needed. We are going to try this again tomorrow to see what we can come up with.
