Hello Anglers,
Today was our last full day and we had high expectations to catch a couple of fish before we had to go but we never tagged a tuna or a wahoo today. We had a good school of 80 to 110 pound fish on us in the afternoon and a school of cows on us after dinner but neither one of the schools wanted to cooperate. So we left the bank with a fair catch on board of mixed wahoo and yellowfin up to 232 pounds and are heading for Cabo. We have been so blessed with fantasy fishing the last four months that this window of trips for the boats that have been out the last two weeks really puts it all into perspective and back to reality. There is still good quality fish to be had but we just have to work a little harder at getting them to bite. Shawn and the crew
The Aloha Spirit runs 5 AM trips out of CISCOs in Oxnard. We target White Seabass, Calico Bass, Yellowtail and Halibut when available. We also will run Rockfish and Lingcod Specials. Call CISCOs at (805) 382-1612 or BOOK ONLINE.

Hello Anglers, Today was fair on the wahoo during the day and around 1730 we hooked four yellowfin up to 145 pounds. We thought that was a good indication of what might happen after dark but we never had a fish hooked all night and we had good fishing condition most of the night. We will try again tomorrow and hope that we end our trip on a good note. Shawn and the crew ...... Read More
