"We got in here early enough to give it a full day," wrote Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates June 19. We picked 53 yellowtail and 9 tuna . The tuna are what looks to be our Jack Pot contenders, 40 to 75-pound fish. The yellows are 18 to 25 pounds. It was windy all day. Hopefully it comes down for the ride up. We plan on giving it until lunch tomorrow and then heading up to Cedros and finishing off with a few Bluefin.
"P.S Charlie picked off a 70 pounder on the kite. He was pumped!"
