Today was an awesome fishing day here at Channel Islands Sportfishing center in Oxnard. With 9 fishing boats the quality and variety of species is grade A. Capt Shawn Steward of the Aloha Spirit and Capt John Fuqua aboard the Sea Jay had big scores on white seabass today with 31 white wonders decked between the 2 of them. The Mirage is still putting those nice flatties on deck scoring 3 on its last overnight. The Channel Isle ran a  ? day today scoring some calicos, nice sheephead and 252 rockfish. Overall we have had great counts and a positive outlook for the rest of the month.
