With the news of albacore caught offshore at 250 miles, the fleet is gearing up to make it a solid year on the water. Local fishing is still looking good with Yellowtail and Barracuda still biting at the Coronado Islands, but the main body of the San Diego fleet is gearing up for the offshore season. With clean water moving into the area everyone is looking for a quick start to the bite. According to a few Long Range Captains the conditions are right for an abundant grouping of albacore moving into the San Diego area.

Open Party Boats and Charter Boats Gear Up for 2011

The Condor, Pacific Queen and Prowler have all finished their boat work and are looking forward to a productive season on the water. Starting in June they will begin running Overnight to 2.5 day trips out of Fisherman's Landing. The signs of a good year are beginning to show out on the water, and the feeling within the fleet itself is one of anticipation. Check out all the trips on our website and give us a call here in the office or try our Fisherman's Landing Book Online link.

Fisherman's Landing Charter Boats are gearing up for the season as well. Most boats still have a few open dates available, but spots are filling up fast. With the good outlook projected on this year, the charter fleet is ready to catch fish. Give us a call here in the office and set up a date for your group!
